The call for submission for the EUROPEAN CONCRETE AWARD 2014 is starting
Building and Civil Engineering projects designed, constructed and built in ECSN member countries with concrete in outstanding, aesthtetic and excellent ways are wanted.
The most important criterias are:
- Visual appearence and harmony of the structure with its surrounding
- Innovative use of concrete in composition, structure or form
- Workmanship and finis

European Concrete Award 2012 goes to Italy and the Netherlands
The European Concrete Societies Network (ECSN) is the organizer of the EUROPEAN CONCRETE AWARD. On the 25th of October the award ceremony for the EUROPEAN CONCRETE AWARD 2012 was held in Oslo.
In the category "Building" the EUROPEAN CONCRETE AWARD 2012 goes to the project "Regional Emergency Management Centre" in Italy.
In the category "Civil Engineering" the winner project is "Gooise Bridge" from the Netherlands, which was engineered by the Municipality Utrecht and constructed by Romein Beton.
European Concrete Societies Network
The object of the network is to encourage coorperation between the members and thereby promote the development of concrete technology and use of concrete in Europe. The network will not interfere with the work of individual societies and other international organisations.
The Secretariat is managed by Austria www.bautechnik.pro.
The participating countries are:
